Once the  rod leash is stretched out it returns to its original form in short time. The paracord coating gives the coils core extra protection from the suns uv rays and abrasions while offering a pleasant aesthetic appeal. Each metal connector is coated with dual wall shrink tubing for even more added durability and appeal as well.
